Is an uneven tile floor with joints suitable for a LVT/SPC floor?
If your subfloor consists of grouted tiles, in many cases it can be made suitable for laying LVT/SPC flooring. For a LVT floor, which is glued down, the tile floor should be grease-free, sanded and smoothed with levelling compound beforehand. An SPC click floor can be installed directly over the tile floor as long as there are no height differences of more than 3 mm between the tiles and the joints are no wider than 10 mm.
