Is a flat concrete surface suitable for a LVT/SPC floor?
A flat concrete surface can certainly accommodate a LVT/SPC floor. There are a few things to watch out for then, though. If there is excessive humidity or no effective moisture barrier, a concrete subfloor is not suitable for a LVT floor to be glued. In this case, a moisture barrier should be applied before the concrete floor is smoothed out. An SPC floor, however, can be installed directly over the flat concrete substrate.
