In apartments and upstairs apartments in the Netherlands there is an obligation to comply with a 10dB contact sound reduction. Our versions Click and WPC can be used here in combination with the Soundlezzz underfloor . Or the SPC in 4.4 mm thickness, to which the right underlay is attached. Certificates are available.
A dryback LVT floor can tolerate heavy objects. On a LVT floor with click system do not have to stand too heavy objects. On the one hand to protect the click system and on the other hand not to prevent the possible operation of the floor.
Yes, all versions of the Sense can be used on a staircase. A dryback is the best version for this. The stair nosing needs to be finished with a stair profile.
Scratch resistance is a tricky concept. No product is scratch resistant. The extra PUR treatment , which we apply as standard on our floors, makes the floor very scratch-resistant but never scratch-free. Small scratches are easy to remove afterwards.
Pets can enjoy themselves on our LVT floors . We do recommend a LVT floor with 0.55 mm top layer. The possible excrement of the pets cannot affect our LVT floors .

Yes, even for moisture or wet rooms such as a bathroom and toilet.
Yes, LVT floors are extremely suitable for underfloor heating / cooling. The heat resistance is extremely low.
Our LVT floors are fire retardant and fall into the class Bfl-S1.
A LVT floor is normally not slippery. By default, these floors fall into the R9 class. Our LVT floors all fall in the R10 class of slip resistance. This is a class higher than normal, so the floor is less slippery. The upstanding structure and the special treatment of the top layer ensure this. If the floor is wet, then of course it is a bit smoother.
.
LVT stands for ‘polyvinyl chloride’, which is the basis for vinyl floors. Vinyl floors are usually called LVT floors in the Netherlands .
All our LVT floors have a 15-year guarantee on residential use and a 5-year guarantee on commercial use.
Yes, all Sense LVT floors are 100% water resistant. Please note that when using a dryback in bath rooms, a moisture-resistant adhesive is also used. Ensure that the joint between the LVT floor and skirtings is sealed at the sides in damp areas .
We only use pure raw materials for the production of our LVT floors . We are therefore one of the few to receive REACH certification, the most comprehensive test for chemical components. We apply an extra anti-static and antibacterial treatment to the top layer. This is a protection against the escherichia coli and staphylococcus bacterium. Our LVT floors are therefore one of the least sensitive floors.
In principle, all LVT floors can be laid themselves. We recommend a dryback , which must be fully glued to the substrate, to be carried out by a professional. Pasting a dryback on the special underlay, Easyfix , is something you can do yourself. The leveling (leveling off with leveling off ) of the substrate must be carried out by a professional.
The advantages include: more wear-resistant and quieter than laminate floors, more environmentally friendly and more height-effective than parquet floors, more hygienic and maintenance-friendly than carpet, warmer than natural stone and safer than cast floors.
A steam cleaner is basically not recommended, even though the LVT floor can handle it. The steam can damage the adhesive under a dryback floor. With a LVT floor with a click system, the steam can get between the joints and possibly end up under the floor. It is better to prevent this.
Maintaining and cleaning a LVT floor is very easy. It is a ready-to-use product that requires little maintenance. Just vacuuming and occasionally mopping with lukewarm water with a dash of LVT cleaner is sufficient.
